The Wimshurst's Machine: Music/Musica
Hundred Years' War
(The Wimshurst's Machine)

This track was born by chance: a friend said "hey, you'll be complete when you'd also make an epic metal track!" And even if this is not totally "metallic", it had metallic elements in it and is surely epic. So, once again was to demonstrate we may afford any genre we like!
The theme: between England and France, in late Middle Age, there was a time of blood and endless wars, that History remember as "Hundred Years' War" since in an entire century there was a little time without wars. In that century France did see characters such as Jeanne D'Arc and England did see some as Edward I (yes, the one who also appears in "Braveheart"), Richard Lionheart, Robin Hood and the same king John (who was "prince John" of Robin Hood's stories) who signed the "Magna Charta Libertatum" making of the british isles the very first monarchy in the known world to have a real paliament (even if was made by nobles and not by people, but was very early in History for that). So, a violent century, but who brought to the world also some important step in the evolution to the "national countries" from the feudal system and the offspring of the first european parliament.
