ENGLISH: This is an irish traditional song, rearranged to become a soothing ambient tune, with the usual electro-acoustic mix that's typical of The Wimshurst's Machine style.
The voice is of julie Murphy, under licence AMG. At the bagpipe, Paul James, also under licence AMG.

We rearranged this song adding a smooth tenor saxophone, claypot percussions and electronics. "Up to the road and back again" is a song that came out by chance. Augusto was listening to the amazing voice of Julie Murphy (that you may hear under regular licence by AMG) and couldn't help but desired to add his tenor saxophone. In this track you may hear our passion for ethnic elements (as irish voices, bagpipes and indian percussions), acoustic instruments (as Tenor Saxophone) and electronics (the warm atmosphere of the music bed).
Someone may define it "an album filler", but we always try to experiment something and to tell something with every track, even with the nes that may be considered "minor add-ons" by someone. After all, when someone buy an album of ours, we always try to let him feeling paid back by the music we make, both for the amount of it (always more than 1 hour) and for the quality (but this is up to the listener decide... accordingly to the great feedback on CDbaby it seems we reached our goal! :-)

ITALIANO: questo e' un brano tradizionale irlandese, riarrangiato per diventare un sottile e seducente brano ambient, con il nostro tipico mix di strumento elettro acustici. Le vocci sono campionate su quella, fantastica, di Julie Murphy, su licenza AMG. La cornamusa e' campionata su quella di Paul James, sempre su licenza AMG. Abbiamo riarrangiato gli elementi tradizionali originari aggiundendo sax tenore, percussioni in coccio ed elettronica. "Up to the road and back again" e' un brano che, come molti altri, e' nato per caso. Augusto stava ascoltando la meravogliosa voc di Julie Murphy (che sentite dietro licenza AMG) e non ha potuto fare a meno di aggiungere il suo sax tenore. Potrete sentire la nostra passione per la musica etnica (voci irlandesi, percussioni africane o indiane), strumenti acustici delle nostre terre (sax tenore) ed elettronica (come la calda atmosfericita' dei tappeti di suoni). Qualcuno potrebbe pensare sia un "riempitivo", ma quando lavoriamo ad un pezzo non siamo focalizzzati su dei "singoli" e riempitivi. Pensiamo ad un concetto e lo esploriamo in musica. Ogni nostro brano ha una storia da raccontare e lo fa in musica e nessuno di essi e' davvero "minore". Noi vogliamo che chi spende denaro e tempo per ascoltare e comprare la nostra musica possa godere appieno dell'esperienza. E in accordo con il feedback ricevuto sin'ora, sembra che anche questo brano abbia colto nel segno.
