The Wimshurst's Machine: Music

Variations over the folly

(Traditional, rearranged by Augusto Chiarle)
ENGLISH: A melange of electronics and world traditions, from India to France, for an alternative, modern rearrangement of an ancient Spanish theme. Here there are some variations over this theme, played by an edgy Sarod, a "rocky" Hurdy Gurdy and electric/electronic instruments, melting Spanish, Irish, French, Italian and Indian traditions into a weird but movemented downtempo. If you like "oriental flavors" probably you would like this song. Everything is less "extreme" than you may think reading these lines, anyway, so don't be afraid to listen to it!
